On Nov.16th, Polartec just released 2 new fabric collections-Power Shield™ and Power Stretch™. which are based on the bio-based Nylon-Biolon™, will be released in the Autumn of 2023.

On Nov.17th, the leading zipper manufacturer YKK revealed their latest water-repellent zipper called DynaPel, which used Empel technology in place of the standard PU film to achieve the waterproof function. The replacement simplifies the conventional recycling procedure of the garment on zippers.

On Nov.16th, Lycra Company debut the latest fiber-LYCRA FiT400, which is made from 60% recycled PET and 14.4% bio-based material. The fiber owns excellent breathability, coolness, and chlorine-resistance, which extended the lifespan of the fiber.

The Mare di Moda just finished on November 10th, which was a renowned European Textile for swimwear and activewear surprisingly encountered a decline of customers, driving out woes of the events. It is evident that the Europe clothing and textile industry is under the high pressure of overstock, rising raw materials and inflation. However, the situation of eco-friendly fabrics is quite opposite: sustainability and Lycra’s bio-based fabrics still remain a big room of improvement.

Color Trends

On Nov.17th, the color experts Hallie Spradlin and Joanne Thomas from Fashion Snoops predicted the possible dominant color palettes the A/W 25/26 season. They are “Savory Brights”, “Practical Neutral” and “Artisanal Midtones”, represent that the AW25/26 might be the a experimental and sustainable fashion season.

On Nov.17th, the renowned activewear & athleisure brand Alo Yoga debut their British expansion with the opening of London’s first flagship store, which is aiming to bring their consumers“ultimate shopping experience” and offer gym & wellness club for Alo’s VIPs. The brand also revealed that there are 2 more additional stores will be opened in UK next year.

Established in 2007, the LA activewear brand has been committed to offering high-edge apparel and services which has won the compliments of multiple celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Kendal, Taylor Swift. The strategy of the offline flagship stores along with the gym & wellness clubs,is expected to drive the brand moving forward to a new height.
