It’s been a busy but happy week after Canton Fair for Arabella. We received client visits almost every day as well as understood variable situation of the activewear market. The innovative technology company Noble Biomaterials and the environmental company e.dye have collaborated to develop their latest waterless-dyed Prism fabric, which utilizes Ionic+ Pro yarn technology and capable of providing long-lasting antimicrobial protection and vibrant colors.  The manufacturing process of this fabric reduces water consumption by 80%, which symbolizes another significant step for dyeing sustainability.

The Lycra Company has invested over 800 million yuan in building its largest spandex plant in Yinchuan, China, adding 30,000 tons of production capacity and 500 jobs, with plans to expand to 120,000 tons. The project aims to meet the growing demand for high-quality spandex in the Asia-Pacific region through intelligent and sustainable manufacturing.

The Lenzing Group has invested 15 million euros to expand its production capacity for high-end lyocell fiber in Austria. This move is part of its 100 million euro competitiveness enhancement plan. The expansion will increase the production capacity of VEOCEL Viscostar for hygiene products to meet growing demand, while strengthening Lenzing’s commitment to sustainability, quality, and long-term growth.
